Google Apps EDU

      uses/integrates with edmodo

    • Thinking of using QR codes around the building to get students into the use of GD

  • Emphasize Google docs is Google drive (aka jump drive)
  • Beware of error messages for out of date internet browsers

  • Yapp create your own apps for events (invitation, twitter feed, pictures, etc. - but only one person can edit)
  • TogetherLearn - gatherings to connect people with content (Khan, PBS, CPAN, etc.) whiteboard use and connect people; have a hs bio kid connect w/elem kids to teach a concept - for a project, tutoring, etc. Another alternative as skype.
  • Study Room- Learn Together (free) request a private room (try this room) - add your own content, pdfs, etc. - create rooms, study groups (table), etc
